Either way you can't go wrong.

Usage:
Shake well before using.  Pre-spray all stains with Red 1 prior to your cleaning set up.  Perform your cleaning procedures.  Most, if not all stains, will be gone depending on dwell time and temperature.  Any stains that remain may require heat activation.
Reapply Red 1.  Cover with wet terry cloth towel.  Apply steam heat from an iron or steamer in 15 second increments.
Reapply Red 1 and use fresh section of the towel after each heat application.
When stain is gone or light yellow extraction rinse spot.
Caution:  Excessive heat can cause color loss.
