| Description |
The carpet or furniture to be cleaned should always be vacuumed and free of debris before extraction. Scrum Carpet Detergent can be diluted directly into the solution tank of a carpet extractor. You can also dilute Scrum Carpet Detergent into a sprayer. Pre-spray the carpet and then use a carpet extractor with fresh water to rinse. Once carpet and upholstery have been cleaned, a fan should be used to help the surface dry. Always make sure that the surface is completely dry before allowing regular traffic back into the area. A color fastness test in a hidden area should always be performed before extraction-on colored carpet and fabrics.
Scrum Carpet Extractor Powder should be diluted at a rate of 1/4 pound per gallon of water. Scrum Carpet Extractor Powder can also be used at the same dilution as a pre-spray for all traffic areas.
